ROUTINE SERVICE TIME ALLOWANCE

Routine cleaning service is intended for pools that are reasonably maintained between scheduled visits and can be serviced within normal service time allowances.

Pools requiring substantially more time due to neglect, excessive debris accumulation, contamination, algae growth, equipment malfunctions, storm damage, construction debris, or other unusual conditions may be subject to additional labor charges, off-route service visits, or conversion to a separately quoted restoration or corrective service.

POOL EQUIPMENT AND FILTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Routine pool cleaning service assumes that the pool circulation system, filtration system, pumps, timers, sanitization equipment, heaters, valves, plumbing, and related equipment are functioning properly.

Crystal Water Pool Services shall not be responsible for water quality issues, algae growth, sanitation problems, debris accumulation, cloudy water, or other pool conditions resulting from malfunctioning, damaged, improperly operated, undersized, improperly maintained, or non-functioning equipment.

If equipment deficiencies are observed during service, Crystal Water Pool Services may notify the customer; however, identification of equipment concerns during routine service does not constitute a full inspection, diagnosis, or repair recommendation.

WATER LOSS DISCLAIMER

Crystal Water Pool Services is not responsible for water loss resulting from pre-existing leaks, underground plumbing failures, structural defects, equipment malfunctions, evaporation, weather conditions, customer actions, or other conditions beyond the scope of routine pool cleaning service.

Routine cleaning activities, including vacuuming, backwashing, filter operation, waste removal, normal equipment operation, and water circulation may result in minor and expected reductions in water level. The customer is responsible for maintaining proper water levels between scheduled service visits unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If Crystal Water Pool Services observes unusual water loss during a service visit, the customer may be notified; however, routine pool cleaning service does not include leak detection, leak diagnosis, pressure testing, plumbing inspections, structural evaluations, or repair services.

Crystal Water Pool Services makes no representation regarding the existence or absence of leaks and shall not be liable for water loss, property damage, equipment damage, increased utility costs, pool downtime, chemical loss, or other expenses resulting from actual or suspected leaks, plumbing failures, structural defects, groundwater conditions, or related issues discovered before, during, or after routine service.

CHEMICALS

Routine cleaning service includes water testing and chemical recommendations when applicable.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all chemicals, specialty treatments, sanitizers, salt, stabilizer, shock products, algaecides, phosphate removers, clarifiers, disposal fees, and related materials are the responsibility of the customer and are billed separately from routine cleaning service.

WATER QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER

Crystal Water Pool Services cannot guarantee water clarity, sanitation levels, algae-free conditions, or specific water quality results.

Pool conditions are affected by numerous factors beyond the scope of routine maintenance, including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions
• Heavy rainfall and flooding
• Wind, pollen, and airborne debris
• Bather load and pool usage
• Water source quality
• Equipment performance
• Chemical demand
• Customer actions or omissions
• Contamination events
• Power outages and equipment interruptions

Because these factors vary significantly, pool conditions may change between scheduled service visits despite routine maintenance.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and unobstructed access to the pool and all related equipment
• Maintain proper operating water levels and promptly add water when necessary to prevent equipment damage and maintain proper circulation
• Ensure electrical service remains available to pool equipment
• Authorize and pay for chemicals and treatments when necessary
• Follow operational recommendations provided by Crystal Water Pool Services

CUSTOMER MONITORING AND BETWEEN-SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine pool cleaning service is performed on a scheduled basis and is not intended to provide continuous monitoring of pool conditions between visits.

The customer is responsible for observing the pool between scheduled service appointments and promptly notifying Crystal Water Pool Services of any significant changes in pool condition.

Customers are encouraged to immediately report:

• Cloudy water
• Green water or algae growth
• Water discoloration
• Foul odors
• Excessive debris accumulation
• Equipment malfunctions
• Low water levels
• Unusual water loss
• Power outages affecting pool equipment
• Contamination events or other unusual pool conditions

Failure to promptly report deteriorating pool conditions may result in further degradation of water quality and pool cleanliness and may increase the labor, chemicals, time, and cost required to correct resulting problems.

Conditions requiring attention between scheduled service visits may require an additional service appointment. Such appointments are not included in routine cleaning service and will be billed separately at the current off-route service rate, plus any required chemicals, materials, disposal fees, or labor charges.

WEATHER AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Crystal Water Pool Services shall not be responsible for pool conditions resulting from severe weather, storms, heavy rainfall, flooding, wind events, agricultural runoff, nearby construction activity, excessive pollen, falling leaves, animal activity, contamination, or other environmental conditions occurring between scheduled service visits.

Such conditions may require additional cleaning, chemicals, labor, or service visits that are not included in routine maintenance service.

PRE-EXISTING AND HIDDEN CONDITIONS

Crystal Water Pool Services is not responsible for pre-existing pool conditions, hidden defects, staining, deteriorated surfaces, damaged equipment, plumbing failures, underground leaks, structural deficiencies, circulation issues, or other conditions that may become apparent during the performance of routine service.

The discovery of such conditions during routine maintenance does not create responsibility for correction unless separately authorized by the customer.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Routine pool cleaning service is intended for pools that are in normal operating condition and reasonably maintained for swimming use.

Routine cleaning services do not include Green-to-Clean restoration services, algae remediation, swamp recoveries, or the treatment of severely neglected pools.

Pools that are green, cloudy, discolored, foul-smelling, excessively contaminated, algae-infested, or otherwise deemed non-swimmable by Crystal Water Pool Services are not eligible for routine cleaning service under this agreement.

Green-to-Clean and pool restoration services require specialized treatment plans, extensive chemical applications, additional labor, and multiple service visits. Such services are quoted separately and may require a minimum of four (4) extensive service appointments, though additional visits may be necessary depending on pool conditions.

If, upon arrival, Crystal Water Pool Services determines that a pool requires Green-to-Clean or restoration services, routine cleaning service may be declined, suspended, or converted to a separately quoted restoration service upon customer approval.
